My name is Jenny. I come from South Africa where I taught art to children as well as adults for many years. I am looking forward to many creative hours with your little artists.

I always tell my students that there is no incorrect way to create art. Art is a different experience for everyone…inspiring individual emotions.
I therefore encourage students to create something unique within the guidelines of a set theme – exploring and diving deep into the magic that is art.

Kosten pro Kurs und Teilnehmer CHF 20. Bei regelmässiger Teilnahme ist jeder 5. Kurs geschenkt. Auf Anfrage führt Jenny auch geschlossene Workshops für Kinder (Homeschooler, Geburtstage…) und Erwachsene durch.

Wir verbinden unterschiedliche Kunstformen indem wir Musik und Tanz auf dem Papier zum Leben erwecken. Ob du als tanzende Ballerina oder als Trommler den Rhythmus der Musik verspürst, in diesem Workshop wirst du Spass daran haben, die Techniken der vorherigen Workshops miteinander zu kombinieren.

Incorporating other forms of art by bringing dance and music to life on paper. Whether you are a beautiful ballerina spinning around or a drummer boy beating to the rhythm of the dance…this theme will be a fun combination of all the techniques we have worked with so far.

Masterpiece weeks: 6. / 13. / 20. / 27. Juni 2023

By now the children should be starting to develop their own style within the artworks and will have learnt about many of the fundamentals of painting:

• Use of their canvas
• Picture placement and perspective
• Colour mixing and use
• Creating textures
• Movement
• Contrasts
• The use of light and shadow

…and the freedom to create and inspire…and be inspired.

The last few weeks will be a longer «masterpiece» project – using all of the above to create their own final piece (or pieces).

My hope is that we could then have an art exhibition highlighting the term’s work.
